Idea's on the digi pack..

The track that I have chosen, Ellie Goulding, 'Your biggest mistake' has a very qwerky style to it as this is Ellie Goulding's style in her appearance also so I want to keep the qwerky sense and style however make it in to my own. I want my digi pack to look inticing so that it shows off what the title is. The title of the album is 'Lights' so I do want to have some kind of lighting effects on the album cover, inlay's and the back cover.

The research I did -
Andy Warhol pop art picture effects because, I thought that this was different and it would work on this album. I wanted to use this effect on one of the inlay's inside the digi pack.

I looked on different websites to try and find his work and this one helped me to learn about him and the different peices of art he published.

I then researched how I would be able to create this pop art effect using photoshop, I found a few decent websites which all had easy to follow instructions however when I began to follow the instructions and create the pop art effect it didnt really turn out how I wanted it to so I thought instead of trying to copy it I would just have to try and make the pictures I was going to use look inspired by Andy Warhol's pop art effect. Another famous artists work who was very similiar to to Andy Warhol's work was Roy Lichtenstein. He used the same pop art design however his work was cover in small dots to give a different look. I tried to also create this effect on Photoshop, however it didn't turn out how I planned. http://www.melissaevans.com/tutorials/pop-art-inspired-by-Lichenstein

Due to the effects which I wanted to do, I couldnt actually do them because the isntructions were missing vital points so the images didnt turn out how I wanted them too, this was a shame because I think that they would have looked really good on the album. Instead of doing these I created my own Andy Warhol effect by just having the same photo of Charlotte and then changing the colour of each picture and I think that it came out really well considering it was inspired by the works of Andy Warhol and of Roy Lichtenstein.
